Your privacy, in plain English

Krueger Energy Consulting LLC ("KEC," "we," "us") runs this site and the tools on it. We keep this short and honest, the same way we treat the rest of our advice.

What we collect

• What you send us. If you fill out a form (for example, to request a free quote review), we collect what you give us: your name, email, phone, the details of your solar quote, and any files you upload. We use it only to do the thing you asked for and to follow up with you.
• Basic usage data. Like most websites, we automatically receive standard information your browser sends, such as your device type, rough location, and the pages you view.
• Cookies and the Meta Pixel. We use cookies, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, to understand how people find and use the site and to show relevant ads to people who have visited us. You can opt out, see "Your choices" below.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we take no money from solar installers, ever. We do use a few service providers to run things:

• Meta Platforms (the Pixel) for measurement and advertising. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
• Netlify, which hosts the site and processes form submissions for us.

Your choices

• Opt out of tracking. Use the "Opt out" button on our cookie notice, adjust your browser's cookie settings, or manage ad preferences in your Meta account.
• Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of targeted advertising and won't load the ad pixel.
• Colorado residents. Under the Colorado Privacy Act you can opt out of targeted advertising and ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Just email us and we'll take care of it.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions only as long as we need them to help you and for our records, and we delete them on request.

Children

This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the site.
